Es war mein zweiter Sommer in New York, und ich war diesmal ausnahmsweise nicht zum Arbeiten dort, sondern „nur“ zum Urlaubmachen. Und es war ein toller Urlaub, denn ein Sommer in New York ist etwas ganz besonderes; die Zeit zwischen Ende Juni und Mitte Juli ist mir die liebste Reisezeit für meine Lieblingsstadt. (Und ich kann das beurteilen, denn ich habe New York schon zu jeder Jahreszeit besucht!)

Dementsprechend viel haben wir erlebt, und ich werde nach und nach ein paar absolute Highlights vorstellen, wie unseren Helikopter-Flug mit einmaligem Blick auf die Skyline:

„I )( NY“ ist übrigens kein Tippfehler. Allseits bekannt dürften ja die T-Shirts und sonstigen Souvenirs mit dem Aufdruck „I (Herz) NY“ sein. Für einen Hurley )(-Fan wie mich war allerdings der Kauf eines schwarzen T-Shirts mit dem o.g. Slogan ein Muss:
